Introducing Reflora Designs

Michelle Samayoa

For the past five years, I’ve been so lucky to celebrate your stories with you by decorating your favorite moments with the language of flowers.

What started as a Mother's Day gift bloomed into a business I named Petal Prints. I pressed flowers into picture frames that honored everything from love stories and new babies to holidays, friendships, and family traditions.

I’ve also been trusted with bridal bouquets, memorial arrangements, and once-in-a-lifetime flowers.

Preserving the actual flowers from important moments turned them into pieces of love, transition, and memory and I wanted a name that reflected that. I am so honored and excited to introduce Reflora Designs.

Why “Reflora Designs”?

The “re” in Reflora represents a second life, a second chance, and a return. It speaks to the heart of flower preservation, which is giving flowers a way to live on and continue telling their story.

Flora is the Roman goddess of flowers and spring. She is often associated with love, beauty, and abundance.

According to myth, Flora was once a nymph named Chloris, transformed into a goddess by Zephyrus, the West Wind, who made her his bride. As Flora, she was granted dominion over all flowers and celebrated in the Roman festival Floralia.

She is often depicted as a woman crowned in roses, holding a cornucopia filled with flowers as a reminder that flowers are life-giving, love-bearing, and spiritually rich.

This new name lets me serve brides, mothers, daughters, partners, best friends, or anyone with a bouquet and a story!

Some Things Never Change

I am still making my signature 4x6 flower frames and suncatchers! My hands and heart are still going to be behind every piece and I will always ask:

What story do you want to celebrate?

Thank you for growing with me and thank you for trusting me with your flowers, your stories, and your most beautiful moments.

Welcome to Reflora Designs, where your flowers can bloom again.

With love and kindness,
Michelle
